The efficiency of an air source heat pump is measured using Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP) – a value calculated by taking the overall performance of a heat pump during a particular heating season and then dividing by the annual energy consumed to run the heat pump. The higher the SCOP, the more efficient the heat pump.

As an MCS accredited installer, for eligible customers, we can access the Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme to apply for a voucher of £7,500 towards the costs of installation of a heat pump!

As part of the UK Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme to promote low carbon technologies, households that choose to upgrade to air source heat pumps may be eligible for a £7,500 voucher towards the cost of installation. As an MCS accredited installer we can apply for this voucher on your behalf.
